The Striebig Compact Vertical Panel Saw, the most popular Striebig model
for more than a decade, delivers legendary Swiss quality at an affordable price without giving up valuable floor space! Cut up to 5’ x 10’ panels faster, easier, and safer than on a sliding table saw—all while requiring less operator skill.
The saw comes ready to work with a 5-1/4hp, 3-phase motor with electric brake, heavy-duty panel support rollers with integral panel stop that makes material handling a breeze. Machine also boasts a full-length center shelf with built-in wood small part support area and moveable support fingers in order to work comfortably with smaller parts, and auto-shifting backing grid.
With a wide range of accessories available, including digital measuring, dado cutting, ACM grooving, and true saw blade scoring, the Striebig Compact can accurately cut a wide variety of materials with great cost effectiveness.
The Striebig Compact Plus Vertical Panel Saw is simply a longer version of the Compact model, but also includes the popular repeat rip device for top-down strip cutting and six template bar stops for setting common rip cut dimensions. With a 15’ (or available 17’6”) cut length and split center shelf that allows for staging of material, the added work advantages of this model likely make it the most bang for the buck in the Striebig line-up.
The Striebig Compact Automatic Vertical Panel Saw with automatic feed and return travel delivers greater efficiency, operator ease, and saw blade life. Available in all Compact sizes, the Automatics include choice of four feed speeds, auto-locking panel support rollers, and return mode selector switch.
The Standard, as the name implies, is the long-time “standard” by which all
other vertical panel saws are measured. The super-strong welded frame and powerful, smooth 7.5hp motor have made it the daily workhorse in quality cabinet shops, architectural millworks, and solid surface shops for many years.
It is available in its basic version with an aluminum support grid with plastic inserts or as the Standard Plus with full wood backing grid, similar to the full-featured Evolution and Control models. Each version is available with full-length wood small parts support area.
The Evolution is the ultimate manual traveling vertical panel saw with many
automatic set-up features. These features include auto-locking of the saw beam
and panel support rollers. From the new touch-screen control panel the operator
can pivot, plunge and lock the saw head, engage the optional adjustable splitblade
scoring saw, and also set the dimension of the optional EPS.X programmable stop. The touch screen will also display faults and provide trouble-shooting assistance.
Digital measuring with fine adjustment in both axes is standard, as is the full wood backing grid, which can support thin materials or small parts. The Evolution also has a new laser light guide for horizontal cut line and externally produced cut lists can be uploaded via a new USB port.
Take all the advanced features of the new Evolution and add automatic, variable speed travel. The top of the Striebig line also includes a panel end sensor and start position memory for optimum efficiency, and a return mode selector switch for total operator control. From the new touch-screen, and for relatively short money, you can also program horizontal rip cuts, including the top trim cut via the new optional EPS.Y and ABO systems.
